Celebrating a major deadline tonight! Sway Essay is on track to have its second best year ever — no small feat in the age of AI. But students are learning there is just nothing like the power of authentic writing to complement a school application. Most importantly, I have gotten to read so many beautiful stories this year. So thankful for and proud of my students!

Our Nordic tour continues! This time, we visited Finland and Estonia. Incredible beauty and culture and being next to the Russian border was sobering. Had the experience of hearing a war protest while visiting a history museum, saw stunning contemporary Finnish art, solved a puzzle at a speakeasy, and ate black bread as much as we possibly could. No one is more fun than Europe Wm, right ? Thanks to my students for waiting on their edits! I’m back at it now!

This Valentine’s Day, we celebrated the greatest gift — our new (very old) apartment in Outremont, Montreal. Sharing it with our dear friends Sean and , we were able to begin making it into our second home over the past few weeks. So grateful for loving and respecting my home country and making my biggest dream come true. I love you always, William. ♥️🇨🇦♥️🇨🇦

Happy New Year from Sway Essay! When 2024 began, I have to admit I thought AI would decimate my little business. But, in fact, it grew once again. I worked with nearly 200 students individually, mostly those pursuing careers in health care. Turns out, there is just no substitute for developing beautiful stories, and I’m so thankful to my brilliant students for sharing with me. ♥️

An amazing trip out west with my very best friend. So overwhelmingly beautiful at times we couldn’t believe we were awake. Everyone always thinks we’re sisters, and you know what? We are. ⛰️ 🥾 🌵 ☀️

AND lots of glowing remarks from program directors about my students’ personal statements! I’ll be sharing some of those this week. ♥️♥️♥️

One of the sweetest gifts ever — a doggy photoshoot for Valentine’s Day. ♥️ Our little munchkins Tilly and Hugo were a bit too hyper in the studio so our photographer Lucas asked me to pose for a few with them. Glad I did! So fun and such great memories. Thanks, and !
