Class of 2026- The application for the University of Kentucky Engineering Dean's Academy is now open. During the event, which is scheduled for July 31-Aug 1, select rising seniors will interact with the Dean of the Pigman College of Engineering, faculty, staff and current engineering students to learn about UK engineering majors, scholarships, honors program and much more. To qualify, students must have a minimum 3.5 unweighted GPA and a minimum 31 ACT composite and 27 math subscore. Spots are limited. Graduation tonight at 7:30pm at the football field. Graduates need to be at the Meece Middle School gym at 6:30pm with cap and gown. The Livestream link is below:

Class of 2026 Girls- see attachment regarding ALA Kentucky Girls State Program. The deadline to register is May 15.

See attachment regarding being a 4-H Camp Volunteer. Must be at least 16.

Reminders for Thursday - Graduation practice & Senior Cookout 11:15am at the football field. Hopkins graduation walkthrough- meet in the SHS cafeteria at 2:00pm with cap & gown, ready for walkthrough at 2:15pm. Project Graduation starts at 7:30pm at Alumni Center, please sign up if you plan to attend on the form on your Google classroom from Mrs. Baker dated 4-30. This is important for food and prize orders.

Reminder - Senior Sunrise Breakfast tomorrow (Wednesday) 6am at the soccer field.

Mark Price, Site Manager at Speed Wash Carwash, has reached out because they are currently hiring at both of their local locations. If interested, stop by either location and pick up an application. Once you submit an application, ask for Mark or Chelsea. You must be 18 with a valid ID or Driver's license and a social security card.

Seniors- if you have a school issued Chromebook please take it to Mrs. Coffey so she can get the paperwork ready to issue the device to you. This must be done by May 7.
