Enjoy your holiday season and stay healthy by walking the indoor track at SBRHS!
The Somerset Berkley Community School, under the direction of Mr. William Aguiar, will once again make the indoor track open for public use with additional restrictions in place for the heath and safety of all participants.
The Indoor Track at Somerset Berkley Regional High School will anticipate reopening on a monitored week-by-week basis as long as the case count in town is deemed safe to do so beginning on Monday, December 6, 2021. The track will be open to the public Monday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Anyone with a cough, cold symptoms, or other signs of illness may be denied entrance to the buildings and the track.
The following are the restrictions in place:
1. Everyone entering the facilities must wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. Masks must be worn at all times within the facility including while walking the track.
2. The use of the indoor track will be limited to a maximum of 10 people on the track at any one time.
3. Users must walk single file keeping 6 feet distance from the person in front of them.
4. Members of the same group may walk side-by-side, but not more than 2 walkers at any time.
5. Only adult walkers will be allowed to enter the track area. There will be no spectators and no one other than walkers is allowed in the track area.
6. Anyone wanting to use the track must check in at the first floor lobby area, keeping 6 feet apart. Users must sign in before and after facility use with a staff member and list their name, date, time, and phone number.
7. The building entrance area and track area will be monitored by staff at all times.
