The Somerset Berkley Community Evening School’s Spring Semester will start on Monday, January 29, 2024.

The Evening School Program is open for enrollment for any students who recently left their high school program or for adult learners who would like to obtain their high school diploma. The Indoor Track located at Somerset Berkley Regional High school is reopening to the public starting Monday, December 5th!

The track will be open Monday through Thursday evenings from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm.

Anyone who wants to use the track must check in at the first floor lobby area to sign in and out. Only adult walkers will be allowed in the track area, no spectators and no one other than walkers allowed in the track area. The building entrance area and track will be monitored by staff at all times.

It’s not too early to consider the possibility of signing up for summer school!

As the 2022 school year is coming to an end, you may realize that your child may need to take a summer course. The Somerset Summer School has started taking registration forms from those who will need to take classes.

We are taking in person registrations June 23, June 24, June 28, and June 29 from 6:00 pm -8:00 pm outside Somerset Berkley Regional High School.

The Somerset Berkley Community School is offering a High School Cooking class Monday nights with Chef Ossa from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. beginning on April 25th for all interested students. This class will help you develop the crucial cooking skills you need for high school, college, and beyond. It will run for six weeks and there is a fee of $150 to compensate for the food costs of these classes.
This culinary arts program will cover the basics of cooking from appetizers to desserts, revolving around the requests of students. At the end of each class session you will be able to sample all the dishes you have created. Space per class is limited to 12 students. The Somerset Berkley Community School will once again be offering an Adult Culinary Arts Class. The six week session will be taught by Chef Ossa and begin on Thursday, April 28. This class will be a great opportunity for at-home chefs to create great new dishes and learn new skills. Enjoy your holiday season and stay healthy by walking the indoor track at SBRHS!

The Somerset Berkley Community School, under the direction of Mr. William Aguiar, will once again make the indoor track open for public use with additional restrictions in place for the heath and safety of all participants.
The Indoor Track at Somerset Berkley Regional High School will anticipate reopening on a monitored week-by-week basis as long as the case count in town is deemed safe to do so beginning on Monday, December 6, 2021. The track will be open to the public Monday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Anyone with a cough, cold symptoms, or other signs of illness may be denied entrance to the buildings and the track.

The following are the restrictions in place:
1. Everyone entering the facilities must wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. Masks must be worn at all times within the facility including while walking the track.
2. The use of the indoor track will be limited to a maximum of 10 people on the track at any one time.
3. Users must walk single file keeping 6 feet distance from the person in front of them.
4. Members of the same group may walk side-by-side, but not more than 2 walkers at any time.
5. Only adult walkers will be allowed to enter the track area. There will be no spectators and no one other than walkers is allowed in the track area.
6. Anyone wanting to use the track must check in at the first floor lobby area, keeping 6 feet apart. Users must sign in before and after facility use with a staff member and list their name, date, time, and phone number.
7. The building entrance area and track area will be monitored by staff at all times.

The Somerset Summer School is open to all area students (grades 6 through 11) who may have struggled this past school year to regain lost material from this past school year and improve their academic standing. For a copy of the Summer School brochure, please email Mr. Aguiar at [email protected]
We will be hosting drive by registration dates outside Somerset Berkley Regional High School from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on June 23, June 24, and June 28.

2021 Summer School Brochures are now available in the Summer School Office, Room 140 at the high school, for anyone who may need it. Summer school classes will begin July 1st, in person at the high school.

The Indoor Track is now closed to public use; however you are encouraged to use the outdoor track at this time.
The health and well being of everyone who attends or uses the facilities of SBRHS has led us to this decision.
