More about our upcoming “Red, White & Louis” Jazz@ThePoint Festival. On Thursday, Oct. 15, we will kick things off with Ricky Riccardi, director of research collections at the Louis Armstrong House Museum.

Ricky has been with the museum since 2009. He is the author of two critically acclaimed, award-winning biographies on the legendary jazz man.

Ricky considers himself not just a historian but also an advocate for Armstrong’s values.

During our Festival, Ricky will provide a fascinating discussion on the life & legacy of Louis Armstrong at Gregory's Bar, and will be joined by the Bob Ferguson All-Stars, who will play faves made popular by Satchmo.
