Our preschoolers are counting down to summer break with lots of fun activities! Today Mrs. Mensch’s class went camping in their classroom ⛺️ Also, check out some cuties from Mrs McGhee’s class. Their favorite stuffies came to school with them last week! 🧸

A huge thank you to local Brigantine artist Eduardo Jimenez for sharing his incredible artwork with Mrs. Johanson’s and Mrs. Disciascio’s 2nd grade classes!

Eduardo creates amazing sculptures and artwork from discarded Mylar balloons and travels to schools teaching students about the importance of responsible celebrations and environmental stewardship.

In honor of World Ocean Month, our students learned how everyday items like balloons can be upcycled into beautiful works of art instead of becoming pollution that harms our oceans and wildlife. His inspiring presentation showed us that creativity can make a positive impact on our planet.

Thank you, Eduardo, for helping our students see the value in protecting the environment while turning waste into art! 🌎🎨🐠

Mrs. Faber’s 3rd grade did a great job in Spanish class today! They designed and wrote real estate listings in Spanish special guests Lisa Bender and Maria Newman, professional real estate agents, bid on their houses to win real estate agent of the year! What a great project planned by our wonderful Spanish teacher Mrs. O’Brien!

What an AMAZING night at our Dawes Avenue STEAM Night! 🌟🔬🎨📚
Our students and families had the opportunity to explore, create, build, design, and discover through hands-on activities that truly brought Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math to life!
A very special shout out goes to our incredible STEAM teacher, Mrs. Haas, and our talented art teacher, Mrs. Plum, for the countless hours of preparation, creativity, and dedication that made this event such a success.
Thank you to all of the staff and families who joined us for such a fun and memorable evening!
