🐛 We literally ate "dirt and worms" this week, and the kids have never been happier!
Our final week of summer camp was pure, un-bee-lievable chaos. We devoured bug crackers and caterpillar skewers, survived a sensory bin with real bugs, and hosted Momma Bun Bun from the AWA. Miss Alexis’s boys read to us, we got soaked during water play, and everyone went home wearing homemade fly masks.

🦟 Bug Week Breakdown
* The Menu: Crunchy bug crackers, caterpillar skewers, and actual "dirt" cups.
* The Guests: Momma Bun Bun the rabbit and Miss Alexis’s brave storytellers.
* The Crafts: Sticky butterfly stickers, clay creepy-crawlies, and fly masks.
* The Science: Getting up close and personal with real beehives.

🚀 Blast off! Our space-themed week at summer camp was out of this world! 🪐
We had an absolute blast exploring the galaxy with these stellar activities:
* 🎨 Alien Makeovers: Rocked cool face painting and crafted custom alien masks.
* 🛸 Intergalactic Crafts: Sculpted creepy alien hands and painted beautiful solar systems.
* 💥 Galaxy Smash: Had a total blast with our "chalk smash" galaxy art.
* 🍧 Cosmic Treats: Cooled down with delicious Kona Ice.
* 🥨 Tasty Science: Built edible constellations out of marshmallows and pretzels.
* ☄️ Movie Magic: Munched on "meteors" while watching Little Einsteins to learn about space.
* 🌟 Sensory Mission: Hunted for glow-in-the-dark stars hidden inside a gooey gel bath.
* ☄️ Meteor Toss: Tested our target skills with a high-energy space toss game.

🌿 Jungle Week at summer camp was an absolute wild adventure! 🐾We packed our bags and went on a deep dive into the rainforest this week. Here is a look at all the wild fun our campers had:
K9 Visit: Met Jolene the Community Resource K9. 🐶
Martial Arts: Kicked off high energy with Action Karate. 🥋
STEM Challenge: Built creative habitats for jungle animals.
🐒Tasty Treats: Mixed together delicious jungle trail mix.
🍫Camp Crafts: Designed and wore custom animal masks.
🦁Imaginative Play: Explored the deep jungle using our imaginations.
🌿Virtual Safari: Took a digital trip to see animals up close.

🐾 Look who came to school today! 🐾We had a very special visit from Jolene, the Gloucester Township community resource K9! From classroom greetings to hall patrols, her wagging tail and calming energy brought so many smiles to our students and staff.Thank you to Jolene and the Gloucester Township Police Department for sharing the love, helping us feel supported, and being the ultimate furry friends to our school community. You are welcome back anytime! 🐶❤️

🌊 Ocean Life Week Recap! 🦈We explored the deep blue sea at camp this week! From messy sensory play to tasty under-the-sea treats, our campers dived headfirst into the fun.Here is a wave of highlights from our adventures:
🎨 Ocean Arts & Crafts
Rainbow Fish Craft🐠: We added some sparkle to our very own glittering fish.
Hermit Crab Hands🦀: We made adorable keepsake handprint crab shells.
Sunscreen Painting☀️: We created secret UV art while learning about sun safety.
🥞 Tasty Sea Treats
Graham Cracker Sea Scenes🌊: We built edible oceans using frosting and candy.
Sand Pudding Cups🏝️: We crushed up biscuits to make delicious, beachy desserts.☀️ Outdoor & Messy Play
Sensory Bins: We splashed around and explored different watery textures outside.
Shaving Cream Fun: We got messy practicing our giant ocean waves in the foam.
Pin the Tail on the Narwhal: We tested our aim on the unicorns of the sea.
Parachute Play: We worked as a team to make giant waves under the summer sun.
