Our Pre-K Falcons enjoyed a special visit from Lt. Parsons of the Solon Fire Department as part of Fire Safety Week!

Our students had a wonderful time learning important fire safety tips and how to stay safe in an emergency.

Thank you, Lt. Parsons, for taking the time to visit Saint Rita and share these valuable lessons with our little Falcons!

Today, October 4, we celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, who is remembered for his deep love for God, his kindness to others, and his special care for animals and all of creation.

On Friday, Deacon Mark visited our Primary School classrooms to share a special story about St. Francis and the meaning behind his feast day. Students were invited to bring their favorite stuffed animal to school to receive a special blessing, a tradition that reminds us to be thankful for the beautiful world God created and to treat all living things with love, kindness, and care.

A special way for our youngest Falcons to learn about St. Francis and grow together in their faith.
