Here they are! Our Green Bridge students of the 2025/2026 school year!
We have grown so much this year, gaining 7 new children! And with so much growth, comes some very exciting improvements on our school house. We have a new classroom for our Kinder/1st grade group, a beautiful new lawn, and a wonderful new addition to our teaching staff!
We are so incredibly lucky and blessed to have such amazing familes who have made all this happen for our children.

We can wait to share our year with you!

Happy New Year!
The students are getting back into their routine after the holidays and we're ready for the 2nd semester at our little school!
We have been up to a lot these last few months. Thank you to The Farm in Salinas for hosting our October field trip. I think the hay ride was a favorite for everyone…including a few parents.
We also visited Flora's Farm where the students were able to pick and decorate a pumpkin and then learn all about Flora’s collection of antique tractors.
In science, our students are leaning all about insects so we visited BioEquipBugs and got to view their insect collection. They have around 3 million insects and 12,000 species in their collection, making it one of the top 10 largest collections in the U.S.
In December, our very own Ms. Ripley directed a Christmas performance at Eden Valley Care Center where our students sang Christmas carols to the residents. The children were rewarded for their hard work with some popcorn from the staff and candy canes from a thoughtful resident. It was very heartwarming and rewarding to be able to bring smiles to the residents’ faces during the holidays.

Our first field trip of the year! The students are currently learning about Native American history in the United States and we visited the Soledad Historical Museum to learn about our local history. Thank you to Graig Stephens and our very own Ms. Ripley for the tour and presentation! The museum holds so much history of our local area. A few students even found newspaper articles written about their ancestors!

On Tuesdays we learn about science! Today was all about animal scientific classification and learning the Latin and Greek words for those classifications.

The 2024/2025 school year has started at our little school and we couldn’t be more excited!
We have 7 new students joining us this year! We have so many fun field trips planned, science experiments, new playground equipment on the yard, and a couple new educators joining our group. It’s going to be an amazing year!
