What a day. 🥹

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 2026 Run for the River, whether you ran, walked, volunteered, cheered from the sidelines, or helped make the event possible behind the scenes.

Events like this are a reminder of how much this community cares about our rivers, our salmon, and one another. We’re especially grateful to our sponsors for their support and to every participant who chose to spend their morning with us. ☀️👟

Save The King!

We are encouraged to see organizations like Kenai Watershed Forum and Kenai River Brewing Company working together to raise awareness and help build a community-based action plan for the future of Kenai River king salmon.

One part of that effort is the new Save The King IPA; a conversation starter and a reminder that protecting this fish will take all of us.

Saving the king isn't about a single organization, a single business, or a single solution.

It's about a community coming together to understand the challenges, support the science, and take action where we can.

We're grateful for the people and organizations helping keep this conversation moving forward.

The future of the king salmon is still being written.

Let's make sure we're part of that story.
