“It is with a full heart that I announce my resignation as Executive Director of the Kenai Watershed Forum as I move on to lead the Cook Inlet Aquaculture Association as their next Executive Director. I want to extend my deepest gratitude to our Board of Directors for their unwavering support and guidance over the past three years, and to our incredible staff, whose dedication to our mission inspires me every single day. Most of all, I want to thank the hundreds of volunteers and supporters whose tireless commitment to the Kenai River is the true engine of this organization—you are the reason this watershed remains healthy, vibrant, and protected for generations to come.

While I am stepping away from this role, I am thrilled to announce that I’m not going far: I look forward to beginning my new position with the Kenai Watershed Forum as a Stream Watch Ambassador!

Save The King!

We are encouraged to see organizations like Kenai Watershed Forum and Kenai River Brewing Company working together to raise awareness and help build a community-based action plan for the future of Kenai River king salmon.

One part of that effort is the new Save The King IPA; a conversation starter and a reminder that protecting this fish will take all of us.

Saving the king isn't about a single organization, a single business, or a single solution.

It's about a community coming together to understand the challenges, support the science, and take action where we can.

We're grateful for the people and organizations helping keep this conversation moving forward.
