💪🏻💪🏻Last night we had a SUCCESSFUL Star Card Blitz after our players took our BIGGEST FUNDRAISER head on and sold a huge amount of cards!

⭐️⭐️Our football players spent the better part of two weeks pre-selling the Discount Cards and they made a tremendous push during our Star Card Blitz!

👀👀Between the hard work and effort from our players, and the community members who supported them, your SOHI STARS will continue to grow and build upon the momentum we have into the season. This group of SENIORS have made great strides in instilling the importance of dedication to our younger levels. For that, we thank you!!

The SOHI STARS were blessed with a heartfelt and insightful message from the 2010-11 Alaska Gatorade Player of the Year: Robbie Smithwick!

Robbie is an amazing individual who was an All State player for the Soldotna Stars in 2010-11, where they went on to win the 2010 State Title Game.

Robbie spoke about the various aspects of a high school football player's life and the importance of forming a brotherhood with teammates. He also highlighted his strong relationships with and leadership from his coaches, Coach Brantley and Coach Lepule.

Robbie explained how to navigate life by using football as a tool to overcome adversity. He also spoke about serving the team for the greater good while maintaining a positive outlook.

The 2026-27 SOHI Football Team is appreciative of the visit from Robbie as we hope to take the field with the continued tradition from that era!

Robbie is a true leader who continues to exemplify the moniker “Pound The Rock” while changing lives in the Palmer area. We thank him for his support, as well as every other alum who came through this program!

⚡️Star Card Blitz: Thursday, August 6th from 5pm to 9pm. Meet at SOHI to get into your groups and SELL YOUR CARDS!

🔵Service Scrimmage @ SOHI: Friday, August 7th at 5pm. Pack the stands for our SOHI STARS!

🔵🔵C Team Scrimmage @ Homer High School Saturday, August 8th starting at 12:00pm. Bus leaves at 9:30am!

✅2026 SOHI FOOTBALL starts tomorrow at 8am. All players need to have online paperwork completed on Arbiter before you can practice.

💪🏻Juniors and seniors will be taking part in Camp Brotherhood. All other players will have normal practice from 8am to noon.
