Cook Inlet Academy Cook Inlet Academy is a private, Christian school educating students in grades preschool through 12th grade on the Kenai Peninsula since 1973.

Cook Inlet Academy is a private, 501(c)3, Christian school, providing a Christian education for students in preschool through 12th grade. We are accredited by both Cognia and the Association of Christian Schools International(ACSI). We are an independent school with over 50 churches represented in our student and faculty body. Our K-12 teachers are Alaska state certified and ACSI certified. They are a uniquely dedicated group of professional Christian educators promoting Kingdom Education for today's youth. Cook Inlet Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. it does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origins in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship programs, athletics, and other school-administered programs.

Cook Inlet Academy has a long and rich history with homeschool families on the Kenai Peninsula. In fact, CIA was founded by homeschool families more than 50 years ago!

You may know that we welcome homeschool students to participate on our sports teams, but did you know they can also take courses on our campus?

From math and English to science, social studies, and electives, we offer a variety of courses designed to provide quality instruction, taught from a biblical worldview.

We welcomed our teaching staff to their first in-service day! What a joy to work with these wonderful educators and staff. We laughed, we cried… Just kidding, no one cried.

Thank you so much to the many, many people it took to start our year off well. This summer we’ve had staff, contractors, & volunteers putting many hours into building projects, locker installs, flooring, painting, landscaping, moving, organizing, and more. Today we were blessed with a sweet treat by our Parent Group and treated to lunch by our School Board (while the board president did touch up paint in the halls all day.)

There are too many people to name, so we’ll just say THANK YOU ALL for making our facilities look great and our staff feel appreciated!
