🌸 Childcare Provider Appreciation Tea Party ☕🎀
On Saturday, May 23rd, we came together to celebrate and honor the incredible childcare providers who make a difference in the lives of children and families every day. What a beautiful afternoon of connection, appreciation, and community. The Solano County Family Child Care Association was honored to host our Childcare Provider Appreciation Tea Party in partnership with UDW Local 3930 at the Solano County Office of Education.
The room was filled with elegance, laughter, meaningful conversations, and so much joy as providers came together to celebrate the incredible work family childcare educators do every single day. From whimsical tea party outfits and fancy hats to delicious treats, raffles, and heartfelt moments, this event truly reminded us of the strength and beauty of our provider community. 👒✨
We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended and helped make this event so special, including our leadership partners, union representatives, community advocates, and dedicated providers who continue to uplift children and families across Solano County and beyond.
A special thank you to:
💗 Astrid Zuniga, President of UDW
💗 Tamera Reed, SCFCCA Vice President
💗 Kaneesha Goyal, UDW Childcare Resource Specialist
💗 Claudia Becerra, UDW Member Benefits specialist
We were also proud to celebrate the continued progress of AB1981, The True Cost of Care Act, as it moves forward to the Senate. Moments like these remind us that when providers come together, our voices are powerful.
Most importantly, this gathering was a reminder that childcare providers deserve to be celebrated, supported, and appreciated not only for the care we provide, but for the heart, dedication, and resilience we bring into this work every single day.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped create such a memorable afternoon. If you attended, feel free to tag yourself and share your favorite moments from the event. 🌸✨
