Refugees need our help: they flee under dire circumstances and when something like this happens it breaks our hearts. A large camp burns down, leaving 12,000 refugees who fled the horrific civil war in Myanmar without even the tents that they called home. Education centers were destroyed. Rebuilding will be extremely difficult.

As we rebuild and expand our programs post-Covid, One World is raising awareness and funding to be able to bring arts programming and hope to refugees around the world. Stay tuned.

The blaze in Bangladesh has left at least 12,000 people - mainly Rohingya refugees - without shelter.

We have a great crowd here tonight as the orchestra tunes up for our collaborative concert with the Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra and the Del Mar Youth Choir!

One World Children’s/Youth Choir registration is now open for fall! Rehearsals begin Thursday 10/4 @ 6:30 pm in Del Mar.

Open to grades 1-12, OWCC is led by Dr. Aaron Mitchell of CSUSM, with curriculum that focuses on excellent vocal technique together with cultural awareness, language learning, and international service opportunities for youth ambassadors. One World Children's Choir (Del Mar/San Diego) records a rehearsal of a selection for our "Beyond Borders" projects in Mexico. OWCC is a unique music service organization dedicated to language learning, cultural understanding and international service. Dr. Aaron Mitchell, Artistic Director.
