The Social Circle City Schools (SCCS) page is provided for the community by the SCCS Communications department. If you are talking about somebody else’s work, reference this or the person, and where possible include a link. The page administrators reserve the right to not post or remove any comments at any time, for any reason. Repeat offenders will be blocked from posting. Congratulations, Social Circle FFA!!

We are excited to share that it was announced today that Social Circle FFA has been named a 2026 National 3 Star Chapter!

Out of more than 9,400 FFA chapters nationwide, only about 5% earned National 3 Star status this year, and Social Circle FFA is one of them!

Three Stars is the highest rating awarded through the National FFA Chapter Award program and recognizes the work our students are doing through leadership, community service, agriculture, and involvement throughout the year.

Our students will be recognized for this accomplishment on stage at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis this October!

We are incredibly proud of our students and thankful for our parents, school, community, and industry partners who continue to support our program and make opportunities like this possible.

Today, our schools came alive once again as students and staff kicked off an incredible year filled with opportunities to learn, grow, serve, and achieve.

It was a joy to welcome our students back and see the excitement they brought through our doors.

We are grateful for our dedicated teachers and staff who have worked tirelessly to prepare for this day, and for our families who entrust us with their children each day.

School starts tomorrow, Wednesday, August 5!

SCCS families and community members should expect increased traffic near both campuses, especially during morning arrival and afternoon dismissal. Please allow extra travel time, slow down, remain alert, and be patient with school buses and other drivers as students and families become familiar with their new routines.

SCCS will once again participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program, allowing every student to receive one breakfast and one lunch each school day at no charge.

Students may purchase additional meals and à la carte items at the following prices:

🍎 Additional breakfast: $2.50
🍎 Additional lunch: $5.00
🍎 À la carte items: Prices vary

As a reminder, SCCS is a cashless district. Funds must be available in the student’s meal account before additional meals or à la carte items can be purchased. Families may add money through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
