It's Monday, and free summer lunches are being served today! ☀️🍎
Newton County Schools is proud to offer FREE meals for children 18 and under (or 21 and under for individuals with disabilities) at several locations throughout the community this summer.
Today's meal locations include:
📍 BC Crowell Park (Porterdale)
11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
📍 Pleasant View Baptist Church (Covington)
Breakfast: 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Lunch: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
📍 Covington Housing Authority
11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
📍 Nelson Heights Community Center
11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Please note: Children must be present to receive a meal, and all meals must be eaten on site.
We encourage families to take advantage of this free program and help keep children fueled for a fun and active summer!

The Newton County Schools 2026 Summer Meals Program begins NEXT WEEK!
Starting June 1, children 18 and under (or 21 and under for individuals with disabilities) can receive FREE summer meals at locations throughout our community. Families will also be able to pick up weekly meal packages beginning Wednesday, June 3.
We’re proud to continue helping ensure children have access to nutritious meals all summer long while school is out.
