12:10 p.m. | SHS Pep Rally
Wear your neon and let’s outshine the competition! Enjoy performances by the SHS Cheer, Dance, and Band as we support our football, volleyball, tennis, and cross-country teams.

5:00–6:30 p.m. | Pre-Game Meal
Grab a $15 hamburger meal in the SHS Cafeteria benefiting the SHS Choir. Purchase a ticket from an SHS Choir student. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.

6:00 p.m. | Stadium Gates Open

6:00–6:50 p.m. | Adopt-a-Tiger Tailgate on the Track
If you are participating in Adopt-a-Tiger, join us for our first Tiger Family event!

6:05 p.m. | Mini Cheer Arrival
Mini Cheer participants will meet at the gate on the north end of the field before taking the field at approximately 6:25 p.m.

Approximately 6:25 p.m. | Staff Appreciation and Mini Cheer
SHS staff members should listen for the announcement inviting them to the track for special recognition. Mini Cheer participants will also join the SHS cheerleaders on the field.

6:45 p.m. | Tiger Spirit Line
Tiger Nation, line up at the south gate. Wear black and gold, bring the bells, and bring the spirit! We will let you onto the field, where you can line up on either side of the Tiger Tunnel to cheer on our Tigers.

7:00 p.m. | Kickoff

Halftime
Enjoy performances by the Pride of the West Band and the Snyder Tiger Stars!

Plan Ahead for Entry
The clear bag policy is in effect. We will also soft-launch the new weapons detection system as part of Snyder ISD’s proactive, layered approach to safety.

Concessions accept cash or card. Tickets purchased at the gate are card only. Purchase tickets in advance at www.snyderisd.net/tickets.

Ms. Rodriguez teaches Art I, Yearbook, and Graphic Design. She was nominated by students who expressed how creative, encouraging, and supportive she is. They appreciate the way she helps students bring their ideas to life and encourages their creativity.

Whether she is helping students develop their artistic skills, creating something special for the yearbook, or guiding students through graphic design projects, Ms. Rodriguez inspires our Tigers to be creative, think outside the box, and take pride in their work. 🎨📖💻

💕📚✨ Today we’re celebrating a woman whose legacy has always been about so much more than music. Dolly Parton has been a champion for children, literacy, kindness, and giving back, putting millions of books into the hands of children through her Imagination Library.

The world lost a beautiful soul, but the joy, generosity, and love she shared will continue to inspire generations.

Today, we’re honoring Dolly the best way we know how: with a little sparkle, pink, and plenty of kindness.

Great job, Snyder High School Tigers! Our first day of the weapons detection system soft launch was a success. Thank you to our students and staff for helping the process run smoothly!

Tomorrow, Snyder Junior High will begin its soft launch. Watch this quick video before arriving, and keep these tips in mind:

• Walk through at a normal pace with your arms down.
• Keys, cell phones, spiral notebooks, and wallets can stay with you.
• Remove Chromebooks, laptops, 3 ring binders, umbrellas, and hard shelled eyeglass cases, from your bag and pass them around the screening system as directed.
• If the system alerts, you may be asked to step aside briefly for an additional check. An alert does not mean you have done anything wrong.

The soft launch gives everyone a chance to learn the process and get comfortable with the new routine. Our goal is to keep screening quick, calm, respectful, and safe.

Registration is open for the 34th Annual Slingin’ Sammy Baugh Golf Tournament on Saturday, September 19, at the Sammy Baugh Golf Course.

The four-person scramble includes shotgun starts at 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Registration is $400 per team and includes one mulligan and free grub. All proceeds benefit the Snyder ISD boys and girls golf programs.

Register by Friday, September 18, by calling the WTC Pro Shop at 325-573-9291. Golf carts are limited.
