Twenty years ago, I never could have imagined the incredible journey this career would become. At this year's summer banquet, I was deeply honored and grateful to have been recognized for 20 years of service by my amazing staff.
The greatest surprise of the evening was seeing former students walk through the door to celebrate this milestone with me. Their presence was an unexpected and meaningful reminder of why this work has always mattered so much. Watching students grow, achieve their goals, and return years later is one of the greatest rewards of this profession.
Thank you to my wonderful coworkers, for making the celebration so special and to every student, past and present, who has allowed me to be a small part of their journey. I am truly humbled by the kindness shown to me and look forward to continuing to serve students with the same passion and dedication.
Here's to the memories we've made—and to the many more still to come.
