Time to celebrate another major Second Amendment win! The United States Department of Justice issued a slip opinion allowing lawful Americans to carry inside post offices for the first time in decades.

This comes after years of litigation, including NRA lawsuits that fought this restrictive "gun-free zone" law.

This win demonstrates that constitutional rights do not end at imaginary lines.

Nearly 31,000 post offices, a 1972 Postal Service regulation, and a federal statute carrying up to a year in prison. The Attorney General asked the Justice Department whether a licensed carrier who walks in to buy stamps is committing a crime, and the answer that came back is not the one the Department has been arguing in court.
