Mrs. Duncan’s Culinary II students took learning to the next level with a day full of hands-on, interactive review stations! Students rotated through challenges focused on ServSafe, kitchen safety, sanitation, cooking methods, equipment, and more.

🧩 Puzzle Station – Putting food safety and culinary knowledge to the test!
🪵 Jenga Challenge – Answer the review question correctly before pulling a block!
📦 Mystery Box Challenge – Teams used everyday materials to design, build, problem-solve, and work together.
🍴 Culinary Puzzle Challenge – A fun and competitive way to review terminology, safety, and kitchen procedures.

Greene County CTE’s 3rd Annual Job Shadow Day is coming!

We’re looking for local businesses, industries, and community partners willing to open their doors and give a Greene County student a behind-the-scenes look at their career field!

📅 Wednesday, October 14th
⏰ 8:00 AM–3:00 PM

Students in 9th–12th grade will have the opportunity to spend the day with a local business or organization, learn about different careers, experience what a typical workday looks like, and connect with professionals in our community.

Community & Industry Partners — WE NEED YOU!
If your business or organization would be willing to host a student for the day, we would love to have you participate! This is a great opportunity to introduce students to career opportunities right here in Greene County and help them build valuable connections with local professionals.

We are glad to welcome students to the NEW Greene Central High School! Today was a huge success thanks to all of our teachers, staff, students, parents, and volunteers. For students who were unable to get a parking pass last Thursday, additional passes will be on sale beginning tomorrow morning.

We had a great week at our 2026 CTE Summer Camp! 🌱🍴

This year's theme was Farm to Table: Agriculture & Culinary, and campers got a hands-on look at how food makes its way from the farm to our tables.

During the agriculture portion of camp, students learned about the beef, dairy, and poultry industries and explored the journey each takes from the farm to the table. Then, during the culinary portion, they used that knowledge in the kitchen as they prepared recipes and saw firsthand how agriculture and culinary arts work together.

Campers also enjoyed field trips to Simply Natural Creamery and Pizza Inn, where they got a behind-the-scenes look at food production and preparation.
Thank you to our campers, staff, and community partners for making this year's camp a success. We had a wonderful week of learning, cooking, and making memories together!
