⚾💙 HEY, TEACHERS! WE’VE GOT A SPOT ON OUR ROSTER FOR YOU! 💙⚾

Sylvan Elementary is HIRING a LOWER GRADES TEACHER, and we're looking for someone ready to step up to the plate and join our Blue Jay family!

We may be a small, rural school, but we've got BIG HEARTS, BIG GOALS, and an even BIGGER commitment to our kids! 💙

At Sylvan, you'll find:

⚾ A team that has your back — We believe in collaboration, encouragement, and supporting one another.

💙 Relationships that matter — We're a Capturing Kids' Hearts school where students and staff are known, valued, and cared for.

📚 A commitment to growing together — We believe in high expectations, strong instruction, trying new strategies, and celebrating progress.

🌟 A place where YOU can make a difference — Our students deserve teachers who believe in them, challenge them, and love them enough to help them reach their potential.
We're not looking for someone who has it all figured out. We're looking for someone who is passionate about kids, willing to learn, ready to grow, and excited to be part of a team working toward something GREAT!

If you're looking for a school where your work matters, your teammates care, and every day brings an opportunity to make a difference, WE WANT YOU ON OUR TEAM! 🙌

📣 Interested? Reach out to our Principal, Mrs. Hamilton at [email protected] to learn more about joining our Blue Jay family!
And to our community—help us find our next MVP by sharing this post!

💙⚾ One Team. One Goal. Step Up to the Plate!

🏆⚾💙 WE’VE GOT AN MVP ON TEAM SYLVAN! 💙⚾🏆

Every great team has those special players who make everyone around them better—and that’s exactly what our Staff MVP Award celebrates!

This recognition goes to a staff member who consistently puts students first, does what’s best for our school community, and always has the backs of their Blue Jay teammates! 💙

Our MVP doesn't just play their position—they see the bigger picture, step up when needed, lead with heart, and make decisions based on what matters most: OUR KIDS!

Because being an MVP isn't about being in the spotlight. It's about making a difference, doing the right thing, and helping the entire team WIN! 🙌

👏 Help us congratulate our Staff MVP Award winner, Mrs. Henderson! Thank you for leading by example, putting others first, and making Team Sylvan stronger every single day!

💙⚾ One Team. One Goal. Step Up to the Plate!

🏆⚾ GOLDEN GLOVE AWARD! ⚾🏆

Great teams are built by people who are always willing to step up, lend a hand, support their teammates, and do whatever it takes for kids—and that’s exactly what our Staff Golden Glove Award celebrates! 💙

This week’s recipient consistently catches opportunities to help, goes above and beyond for our Blue Jays and coworkers, and makes Sylvan stronger simply by being the kind of teammate others can count on.

We see you. We appreciate you. And we are so grateful you’re on our team! 💙⚾

👏 Help us congratulate our Golden Glove Award winner, Mrs. Amber Clark!

⚾💙 BIG BAT ENERGY ALERT! 💙⚾

Some people simply walk into a room and make it better—and that’s exactly what our Big Bat Energy Award celebrates! This recognition goes to a Sylvan staff member who consistently brings the positivity, energy, encouragement, and heart that makes our team stronger.

They don’t just show up for our Blue Jays—they show up for their teammates, too. They are Capturing Kids’ Hearts AND co-workers’ hearts every single day, and that kind of energy is contagious! 💙

Congratulations to our Big Bat Energy Award winner, Mrs. Cummings! Keep bringing the energy, spreading the good, and making Sylvan a better place to be. 🔥⚾

⚾🔥 WE’VE GOT A PLAYMAKER ON TEAM SYLVAN! 🔥⚾

Great teams get better when people are willing to try something new, make an adjustment, and go ALL IN for kids—and that’s exactly what our Staff Playmaker Award celebrates! 💙

This recognition goes to a staff member who is embracing our Power Plays, stepping outside of their comfort zone, trying new instructional strategies, and finding intentional ways to leverage learning for our Blue Jays.

Growth doesn’t happen by playing it safe. It happens when we are willing to learn, take risks, reflect, adjust, and try again. That’s a PLAYMAKER! 👏

Congratulations to our Staff Playmaker Award winner, Mrs. Scott! Thank you for being coachable, courageous, and committed to doing whatever it takes to help our students grow. 💙⚾

One Team. One Goal. Step Up to the Plate!

💙⚾ A Little Late, But WAY Too Important Not to Celebrate! ⚾💙

Teacher Assistant Appreciation Day may have been September 25, but our appreciation for these incredible ladies goes far beyond one day! 💙

Our Teacher Assistants are some of the unsung MVPs of Team Sylvan. They support our students, encourage them when learning gets tough, jump in wherever they are needed, help our classrooms run smoothly, and love our Blue Jays BIG every single day.

They wear a lot of hats, play a lot of positions, and make a difference in more ways than we could ever fit into one post. Simply put, our Blue Jay Team would not be the same without them.

So even though we're a little late getting this one on the scoreboard, the message is still just as important:

THANK YOU for showing up, stepping up, and helping our Blue Jays SOAR! We are incredibly grateful you are on our team! 💙⚾

👏 Help us show some love to our amazing Teacher Assistants!

One Team. One Goal. Step Up to the Plate!
