And just like that, another school year is in the books!

Today our CVES Cubs headed out the doors and into a well-deserved summer filled with sunshine, adventure, family time, and plenty of fun. As we look back on the year, we're grateful for the memories we've made, the friendships we've strengthened, the lessons we've learned, and the growth we've witnessed in every one of our students.

To our fifth graders, congratulations on reaching this exciting milestone. We can't wait to see all that you'll accomplish in middle school.

To our returning Cubs, enjoy every minute of your summer break. We look forward to welcoming you back in the fall for another amazing year.

Have a safe, happy, and unforgettable summer, Cascade View!

We had so much fun sending off our fifth graders at the Beach Bash Friday night! We hope all our Cubs enjoyed their tropical getaway and will leave our school with some great memories. We will miss them all next year, but we know they have great days ahead of them in middle school! Huge thanks to the CVES PTSA for sponsoring and coordinating such a wonderful evening for our students!

The school year may be ending, but the adventures in reading and writing don't have to stop! CVES students are invited to participate in our 2026 Summer Reading & Writing Challenge and keep their skills growing all summer long.

Students who meet their personal goals and return their completed challenge sheet at Meet-the-Teacher in August will earn a special prize to kick off the 2026-27 school year!

There are two ways to win!

• Or coming up with your own creative ideas! The possibilities are endless!

There's not much cuter than a Cascade View kindergartner, and our adorable Cubs pulled out all the stops as they marked the first of many academic milestones at CVES. We loved watching as our pint-sized scholars celebrated their inaugural year with their friends and families with an aloha-themed end-of-the-year sendoff. Have a great summer, kiddos! Next stop – first grade!

Rain, rain, went away ... just in time for CVES field day!

Yesterday our Cubs raced through three-legged challenges, limboed their way to glory, got creative with art projects, battled it out on the kickball field, chased bubbles through the air, and packed the day with smiles, laughter, and plenty of unforgettable memories.

A huge thank you to our amazing parent volunteers who gave their time and energy to make the day such a success, and to the CVES PTSA for organizing another fantastic field day.

We have moved our Lost and Found to the front of the school building today for ease of parent and student access. If your child is missing anything, please swing by today and take a look! At the end of the day, all items left behind will be donated.

It was quite a morning at CVES as the Wax Museum opened to visitors for a very special exhibit featuring some of the world's most influential people. In addition to being a whole lot of fun, this interactive and immersive learning experience teaches our Cubs research skills, public speaking abilities, and a deeper understanding of historical figures and how they changed the world. Kudos to our fourth graders for not only engaging in their own learning but also offering an educational experience for their peers, teachers, and parents. (And did we mention that it was a whole lot of fun?) 😀

Today fifth graders from CVES and SES took a field trip to Snoqualmie Middle School with their teachers to have lunch and take a tour of the building. Students spent the day enjoying lunch, touring the building with their teachers, and getting a first look at the classrooms, learning spaces, and indoor and outdoor areas they'll soon be calling home. Along the way, they heard from SMS Principal Megan Botulinski about what a typical school day looks like and got a glimpse of all the opportunities that await them next year.

We will miss these Cubs so much next year, but we know they have wonderful things in store for them as SMS Eagles!

Last Friday, CVES families lit up the evening at our first-ever Glow Party, hosted by the CVES PTSA. From the moment the doors opened, students and families filled the school with energy, laughter, and plenty of neon fun.

The dance floor was hopping while students enjoyed glowing activities throughout the event, including LED glow golf, glow bingo, the photo booth, Sugar Shuffle, and more. Many Cubs also showed off their glowing style with fun glow swag and accessories.

When it was time for a snack break, families enjoyed delicious treats from Marigold Pizza and Snoqualmie Snow before heading back for more fun.

A huge thank you to our CVES PTSA and the many volunteers who helped bring this bright new tradition to life. It was wonderful to see our school community come together for an evening full of smiles, music, and glowing memories!
