What started as a blank wall is becoming a lasting Mount Si High School tradition.
Junior Blake Weiss spent the past three months designing and creating a new Wildcats of the Year display in the school's main entrance. Working alongside Mr. Dockery, Blake used the school's engraving equipment to create wooden tiles honoring Wildcats of the Year dating back to the opening of the current Mount Si High School.
Beginning this year, Wildcats of the Year will be announced at graduation and recognized with a permanent place on the wall with previous winners, creating a lasting tribute for future generations of Wildcats.
Blake's creativity, attention to detail, and dedication transformed an empty space into a meaningful legacy that will continue for years to come.
Thank you, Blake, for leaving your mark on Mount Si High School! ❤️🖤

🎶 Double the honor for Mount Si Music! 🎶
We are thrilled to announce that both the Mount Si High School Orchestra and Percussion Ensemble have been selected, through a blind audition process, as featured performers at the Washington Music Educators Association (WMEA) Conference in Yakima in February 2027!
Being selected to perform at WMEA is one of the highest honors for school music programs in Washington State. The conference showcases outstanding ensembles from across the state, and selection is based solely on the quality of the audition recordings.
Congratulations to our talented student musicians and dedicated music educators for this incredible achievement. We can't wait to see our Wildcats represent Mount Si High School and the Snoqualmie Valley on the state stage!
