Fans of Bumblebees: I am so very sad to say, our family's health situation is so frustrating. Our last 12 months have been 10 outbreaks of the tummy bug, 2 outbreaks of Pink Eye, and multiple colds, SADLY, I am not reopening anytime soon, until we get this resolved.

We have never had a year like this, ever. I have operated an in-home daycare for 3.5 years total, in the DC and Seattle area, and my son is 7 and we are around tons of neighborhood kids and friends, and we have never before been so impacted, and unable to stay open for the families who need care. Instead of having to close constantly, I will just not be re-opening my business in our new home, unless we get a handle on our health.

There are many great providers in the area, and if you send me a message, I can give you their numbers. My most sincere apologies.

Hi! We are all moved in to our new house. I am in the process of re-applying for a State Department of Early Learning License. I am still a nanny for one family at a time until the License comes through. DEL has it's own timeline for how quickly they process their applications. More soon!

MOVE NEWS!
We have moved to a tiny apartment while we wait for our new house in Cascade Ridge. I am working as a nanny for one family at a time in the apartment.

We have plumbing, electric, roofing and windows so far. Next week we will have sheetrock. So exciting! Pulte says it could be done as early as April 1st and as late as June 30th.

As soon as I have the firm date, I will contact WA DEL and the Federal CACFP, and we will be back on-line with a license in the new space. We'll be officially open for business with the ability to care for up to 8 kids.

MOVE UPDATE: We successfully have a house under contract down the street :) It is under construction and should be ready April/MayJune. I am nannying for each family, one at a time, part-time as needed from 11/3/2014 until I re-open in our new space! Thank you for your patience :)

Bumblebees is MOVING!

No specific details yet, and we are working furiously on this end to be open every day during the move.

With crossed fingers and lucky stars shining down, our new house will be available some time next summer, and be really close to Jacobia Park a half-mile away.

Parents: In case any of you ever question your decision to have your kids in daycare...

Your job as mom and dad is so much harder than mine! I get to play and teach and have fun with your sweet ones during their happy days, and then they go home!

Parenting my 2 is way harder than having 6 during the day. Parenting is taking on everything, such a larger role than my job.

Thank you for choosing me and trusting me with the greatest love of your life: your child :) Spending time with them is extremely rewarding.
