Positive Ally will start 2 hrs late as well.

Ok. We’re really hoping for only a two-hour delay for Wed. Jan. 5. All buses will be on snow routes, there will be no AM PK and no out of district transportation.

The delay will give our crews time to spread extra de-icer and clear pathways as well as more daylight for drivers and students waiting for buses to get to school safely. It will also, hopefully, help with roads in outlying areas that are starting to actually melt today.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding with this challenging weather.

Positive Ally will be closed today.

Positive Ally will be closed today.

UPDATE 5:40AM, Tue, Jan 4, SCHOOL CLOSED, ACTIVITIES CANCELED: Our team drove all areas and checked each school this morning. While it’s better than yesterday and rain is forecast, the roads are still in too rough of shape for buses, families and students driving to safely make it to school. Many neighborhoods in all areas and major access roads in North Bend are still covered in heavy compact snow and ice.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We know that school closures are a hardship for many families and no one likes making up days in June, but we must err on the side of safety. Take care!

AM Program is cancelled at Positive Ally for Jan 4th Tuesday.

—————————————

We’re going to try and start by being optimistic for tomorrow morning, Tue. Jan. 4 and plan for a 2-hour delay with all buses on snow routes, no AM preschool and no out of district transportation. Snow routes can be found here: https://www.svsd410.org/Page/192. If your stop is not listed, it is the same as normal.

However, quite a bit of melting and clearing is still needed. Side roads in all areas remain bad and main roads in North Bend remain in rough shape. Plus, it is still snowing in places.

We will reevaluate in the early morning. Please stay safe and look for updates or changes by 6AM.

No Positive Ally AM and PM program today.

No Positive Ally AM and PM program today.

UPDATE - 5:20AM, Mon. Jan. 3: The rain expected overnight turned out to be several inches of snow making it impossible for us to have schools ready and for roads to be safe to travel this morning. As a result, we are canceling school today. All activities are also canceled. Stay safe out there!
