🐱 Cranky Abby — Learning Our Emotions

Today we learned about our emotions with Cranky Abby! The children practiced identifying different feelings and learned that all feelings are okay. ❤️

We talked about:

* 😊 Happy
* 😢 Sad
* 😡 Angry
* 😟 Worried
* 😴 Tired

The children practiced making different facial expressions and talked about what they can do when they have big feelings. We are learning that it’s okay to feel our emotions and that we can use our words to tell others how we feel. 🥰

“I can name my feelings. I can talk about my feelings. I can be a good friend.” 🌈

🏡 Our Classroom Family Agreement ❤️

After we came up with our “Our Class Is Our Family” chart, our friends each took a turn signing their names as a special agreement. ✍️💕

Together, we agreed that in our classroom:

🌟 We will be kind.
🤝 We will share.
💗 We will help one another.
😊 We will use kind words.
🏡 We will take care of our classroom family.

Each signature represents a promise to help make our classroom a safe, loving, and welcoming place where everyone belongs. ❤️
