Choosing a rangefinder can be difficult, but there are a few very important features to look for. First, you want to make sure that the unit has great quality optics - without a crystal clear image, you won’t know if you shot the flag stick or the trees behind. Second, user selectable slope feature - you will want to use slope when mapping out a course for the first time or if you are preparing for a tournament, but you will need to be able to turn if off for tournament play.
