🚨 CARNIVAL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TODAY 🚨

We need all hands on deck - we are still very short on volunteers for the carnival on Friday. Unfortunately, if we do not get enough people signed up soon, we will be forced to start canceling games, activities, and attractions because we simply won’t have enough adults to run everything safely and successfully.

Our carnival is one of the biggest highlights of the year for the kids, but it truly cannot happen without parent and community support. Even one short shift makes a huge difference!

We are hoping to have most volunteer spots filled by the end of the day so we don't have to cancel anything!

⚠️ Maltby Carnival Volunteers Needed ASAP ⚠️

Our carnival is ONE WEEK away, and we urgently need more volunteers in order for the event to happen as planned.

At this point, if we do not fill volunteer spots immediately, we will have to begin cutting games, activities, and other fun parts of the carnival. We do not want to disappoint our students, but we cannot run this event without enough help. It's a great opportunity for older students to get their service hours in as well!

We need all hands on deck. Please consider signing up for even one shift to help make this event successful for our kids and families. Because this is a 3 hour event, there are multiple time slots for each volunteer need.

Each grade level is creating a themed basket this year, and we’re inviting families to donate new items to help fill them. The PTO will assemble the baskets and raffle them off during the carnival!

🗓️ Donations are due by May 22 and can be dropped in the coordinating grade's basket in the office.

That’s a wrap on our week at the Maltby Market!

We closed out Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week with a Sweet Treat Stand filled with goodies for the incredible staff who make Maltby such a special place every day 💙

From yogurt parfaits and popcorn bars to plants, seeds, handmade totes, catered lunch and sweet treats, this week was all about celebrating the amazing people who support, encourage, teach, and care for our students all year long.

To our teachers and staff: thank you for the love, patience, energy, and heart you pour into our school community. We appreciate you more than words can say! 🌼
