We love seeing classroom grant experiences that help students build empathy, understanding, and connection.
Recently, Totem Falls Elementary students participated in the IDEA Project, a hands-on learning experience designed to help students better understand how people with different abilities may experience the world around them.
Through interactive stations focused on communication, sensory experiences, vision, learning differences, fine motor skills, and information processing, students had the opportunity to step into someone else's shoes and gain a deeper appreciation for the importance of inclusion and compassion.
SEF is proud to have helped fund this experience through our Classroom Grants Program, which supports innovative learning opportunities across the Snohomish School District.
Thank you to Snohomish School District for sharing these photos and to the educators who continue creating meaningful learning experiences for students every day.

At Snohomish High School's Senior Award Night, we celebrated students whose hard work, perseverance, service, and commitment have helped shape not only their futures, but our community as well.
The Snohomish Education Foundation Local Scholarship Program exists because of generations of community members, families, businesses, educators, and donors who continue to invest in local students and believe in the power of education.
As these graduates begin their next chapter, we are proud to stand alongside them and recognize the accomplishments that brought them to this moment.
Congratulations to this year's recipients. We look forward to seeing where your talents, passions, and determination take you next.

Local businesses have always been part of what makes Snohomish strong.
For 40 years, the Snohomish Education Foundation has partnered with businesses, families, and community members to help support students and educators across the Snohomish School District.
Now, we’re inviting local businesses to be part of the next chapter through our Community Giveback Campaign.
Hosting a Giveback Event is a simple and meaningful way to support local students while engaging your customers and community.
Whether it’s a percentage of sales, a featured product, a class, workshop, special event, or seasonal promotion, every business can participate in a way that feels authentic to them.
Your participation helps support:
• Scholarships for graduating seniors
• Classroom innovation and teacher grants
• Student enrichment opportunities
• Programs that help expand access and opportunity for students across our district
Most importantly, it’s a chance to show your customers and community that your business believes in investing locally and giving back together.
