Panther spirit is in full force for Homecoming 2025!

Thanks to all who came out for Campus Cleanup this morning to prepare for homecoming ‘25!

The SHS class of ‘61 had $10 to leave a gift. Some seniors, led by Ernie Goshorn, decided to buy some flowers a cut a “61” into the side of the hill off Avenue D. The class flowers have been an institution at SHS for 64 years! To this day Ernie continues to work with SHS floral design students to plant these flowers. Thanks for continuing to give back, Ernie!

Panther sign is back!

The SHS track and field team had a “day of service” where over 100 student-athletes participated in trail maintenance at Lord Hill Park and wind-damage cleanup at Hill Park and Ferguson Park. In addition, they collected food items for the food bank. Well-done!

SHS Chinese Club visited the Wing Luke Museum in Seattle’s Chinatown. The tour offered a rich exploration of the Chinese American community, as well as the histories of Japanese Americans and other Asian American groups. This visit gave our students a valuable opportunity to better understand the diverse history of the community in which we live.
