Today we came together to honor and celebrate our veterans with an assembly. A heartfelt thank you to all who have served our country, protecting the freedoms we hold dear. We recognize the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of every veteran—past and present.

Our dedicated scouts and ASB officers who led with honor and service
Our talented performers who shared meaningful tributes
Our guest speaker, Mr. Nick Milani who shared inspiring details about teamwork and the importance of empathy and kindness

To all who have worn the uniform: your service is a beacon of resilience and hope. We are grateful for your contributions, your stories, and the example you set for our community. Today, and every day, we honor you.

Maltby Veterans Day Celebration Concert 11/10 at 2pm

On Monday, November 10th, we will have an assembly to honor the Veterans in our lives. This assembly will feature Ms. Jenny’s Montessori 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade class,
5th grade Guitar Ensemble, and K-5 Scout Color Guard.

We cordially invite all family members and friends who are Veterans to join us for this Veterans Day Celebration.

Veterans should plan to arrive at 1:50 pm so that we may seat them in our section of honor. Following the celebration we invite our Veterans and their guests to the library for refreshments.

The classrooms are ready, the pencils are sharpened, and the heart is full. Tomorrow we welcome back our Maltby Mistangs with open arms and big dreams. Here's to a year of growth, joy, and belonging—for every child, every educator, every family. Let’s make it unforgettable. 💙

🌟 Jump Start Success! 🌟

Last week, our incredible kindergarteners—and the amazing staff who support them—kicked off their Maltby journey with Jump Start! 💙🐴

From hands-on learning in both kindergarten classrooms to exploring PE, music, and art with our talented specialists, our newest Mustangs got a preview of life at Maltby Elementary. They made new friends, played on the playground, and began building the confidence and curiosity that will carry them through the year. 🎨🎶🏃‍♂️

We’re so proud of these young learners and grateful to the dedicated staff who made this experience so welcoming and fun. The countdown is on—we can’t wait to officially welcome our kindergarteners on Monday, September 8th, and our 1st–5th grade students on Wednesday, September 3rd. Let’s make it a year to remember! 💫

We hope you can join us for our 2nd annual community clean up day! We love our volunteers and the transformation that happens at our school.

It’s almost time to welcome back our students and staff, and we need YOUR help to make Maltby Elementary shine!

Join us for the Maltby Community Clean Up Day and be a part of something special. This is your chance to roll up your sleeves and help us:
• Tidy up the grounds
• Paint and refresh spaces
• Support teachers as they set up classrooms

Every volunteer makes a difference. Whether you can stay for an hour or the whole time, your effort helps create a welcoming, clean campus for our kids.

Middle school age and older are welcome to volunteer. (Sorry, no young children for this event.)

Let’s come together as a community and kick off the school year strong. Bring a friend, bring your gloves, and bring your school spirit!
