Little Raphael's art class at CCS Academy is taught under the direction of Lora Hill. The children work to improve concentration and eye hand coordination Ms.
This art class is for ages 5 - 7. Lora works with the children in small intimate groups and gives each child the attention they need to learn basic concepts of art. She works with their understanding of color and helps them to develop their eye/hand coordination.

There are times in life that you look back at who you chose as friends, and you realize just how fortunate you are to know them. My dear friend, Lora Hill-Earnhardt passed away today. Lora was the kind of friend that could sense when you weren’t feeling well. She knew if you were having a bad day. She was sensitive and caring, and knew when to just sit beside you and place your hand in hers.
Lora had a sense of humor like no other. How often she would come in my office when I was working, sit down and say to me, look, I know your busy but you have to read this. She hands me several pieces of paper, some newspaper clipping and some were magazine clippings. I take them from her and it’s one joke or cartoon after the other relating to art. There was always laughter when Lora was near.
Lora taught ages 5 - 7 at Cobble Creek Studios Art Academy for 6 years. I remember when I asked Lora if she would like to join us at CCSAA. She turned me down twice. She once told me, “I realized the third time if i didn’t accept the position you wouldn’t ask me again, so I said yes!” She was one of the best things that happened to our school. Her loving nature was so perfect for the little ones. She loved what we all created here in Snellville. It has purpose, we are filling a need, she always said to me. The relationships we’ve built, are a family!
The professional portrait artist is another side of Lora. She was a past President of the Portrait Society of Atlanta. She held Member of Merit status and was on the board of the PSA. She has won numerous awards.
Lora was also a long-standing member of the Portrait Society of America and annually attended the PSOA conference.
In all my years I’ve known many artists, but Lora was very special to me. She was a friend, a confidant,
and a kind and gentle artist that will be missed by all, especially by me! Rest in God’s loving arms my sweet friend. See you soon, but not yet🩷❤️💔❤️🩷
