Battle Buddy 5K for Mental Health –
We are here to stand together, raise awareness, break the stigma surrounding mental health, and remind everyone that no one has to fight their battles alone.

To our veterans, military families, community partners, sponsors, volunteers, and every person who showed up today—thank you! Your presence matters. The Battle Buddy concept reminds us that we are stronger when we look out for one another. Sometimes, being someone’s battle buddy simply means listening, checking in, offering encouragement, or helping someone find the support they need.

STEP Up pics from the Colquitt, Grady, and Thomas Counties 15-year Celebration at the Downtown Moultrie Welcome Center located on the Square. Approximately 25 community members joined together networking and celebrating the many successes achieved over the years and welcoming the newly enhanced focus on su***de prevention. A big thank you to all who have joined our efforts in all 3 communities. Here’s to another 15 years of making a difference. We’re proud of you all!

Did you know that we’ve been in the prevention industry for over 15 years!?!?

While our staff has changed, our mission has not. Helping communities learn ways to support those struggling with mental health issues and youth in preventing underage, substance abuse and misuse is still the priority!

Such a heartbreaking reality BUT you can be a part of the change.
Know someone that has had personality changes lateyl?
-have a conversation..or two
-know the resources available- 988 su***de prevention line
-listen to what they are saying and what their body language is saying
-be aware that the numbers are high

First responders deal with more trauma than we can imagine. Encourage them- always. Hug them- always. Let them know they are valued.

Hope has a voice- YOURS!

We are so excited about The Hub grand opening weekend that we wanted to share more! The Hub is designed to provide resources, connections, and supportive services to Moultrie and the surrounding Colquitt County area.
