Hello! Every year, we (SGHS PTSO) celebrate our teachers end of 1st semester with a Desserts-First buffet. This year we are in need of just a few more volunteers to donate a store-bought dessert for our event (Thursday, 19 December). If you’re able, we'd surely appreciate the support. Our South teachers take joy in this event every year.

Note: If you are a licensed baker, we can also accept catered desserts.

Drop off at South Gwinnett High School until 2pm today, 18 December or between 9-11am Thursday, 19 December.

Congratulations to R. Rodriguez-Baker for participating in the RE:IMAGINE Post Production 10 Week Training program. He was accepted in the 2024 Apprenticeship Cohort to equip emerging artists with 10 weeks of hands-on training and direct access to on-the-job work opportunities in the movie production business. Those accepted into this competitive program will grow their soft and technical skills in editing and develop a portfolio of work.

That's right, all active PTSO Student members should stop by the PTSO table during all lunches FRIDAY, 1 NOVEMBER, and grab some free Bruster's ice cream. Student members will receive 2 scoops plus UNLIMITED toppings.

Did you know? Full-time residents of Gwinnett County, 65 or older, are eligible to receive a Lifetime Senior Citizen Sports Pass from GCPS.

The Sports Pass is valid for admission to any Gwinnett County Public School-sponsored high school sporting event, including Fine Arts events taking place at a local GCPS school.

The Sports Pass cannot be used to attend regional or state playoff games.
