This activity was enjoyed by children in 3 different classes on Friday. Boxes were built and lined up. All of the following skill development took place: core strength development, coordination, spatial awareness, geometry, gravity, force, momentum, endurance, vestibular & proprioceptive development(jumping), risk assessment, confidence & collaboration. All this from playing!! What hit me the most about this activity is the bigger kids were teaching the littles about standing in line & waiting their turn at one point. They paired up with the littles and were explaining what they needed to do. The most genuine & organic learning our children experience is during play. Children teaching & sharing with their peers. ❤️ Our teachers facilitate such learning everyday with the children at the center. ❤️💯😍
