Enrollment opening soon! We are currently working on finalizing arrangements for Stella Maris Classical Academy’s initial operating location. Once complete, we will send out additional information on grade and course offerings, tuition, and other details.

Remember to apply for the newly expanded Opportunity Scholarship here (https://www.ncseaa.edu/k12/opportunity/how-to-apply-for-the-opportunity-scholarship/) before March 1, 2024 to obtain priority funding for the 2024-25 school year!

The State of North Carolina will provide approximately $3000-$7000 for private school tuition and fees, depending on income and availability of funds--with no income cap on eligibility.

Stella Maris Classical Academy is currently renewing our status as a "Direct Payment School," allowing families to use the Opportunity Scholarship for Stella Maris, up to 100% of expected tuition and fees. You can update your application later to designate Stella Maris as your preferred school, should you decide to enroll.

The NC legislature has expanded eligibility for school choice scholarships! The Stella Maris Classical Academy team is doing everything we can to maximize the value for students and their families when we open in Fall 2024.

Universal school choice makes its way into NC budget RALEIGH - North Carolina’s budget for the new biennium would expand school choice across the state to an unprecedented level.

Now opening in Fall 2024. Unfortunately, we do not have sufficient enrollment to begin operations this year. We will be using the next several months to prepare for a Fall 2024 opening. Those efforts will include planning for re-opening enrollment earlier in the school selection season, continuing refinement of the curriculum, fundraising and other efforts to increase affordability, and others. Please keep us in your prayers!

Stella Maris is now officially registered as a non-public academy and has filed for participation in the Opportunity Scholarship Direct Payment program. We will keep you updated!

Now that we're back after a period of deactivation, please take a look at the Signature Curriculum. It will be adapted in the inaugural year to accommodate those who are new to a classical curriculum.

At Stella Maris Classical Academy, we employ a classical educational approach in the Catholic tradition, which inculcates a deep understanding and experience of the Christian faith and the foundations of Western Civilization in order to (1) teach students how to learn and think for themselves; (2) work with parents to form individuals of character and integrity; and (3) prepare students to live their best lives as faithful, well-educated, and joyful Christians.
