Our Regional Leadership Literacy Coaches (RLLC) and Regional Literacy Coaches (RLC) kicked off the year with our School-Based Literacy Coaches during an engaging and highly successful Fall 2026 Coaching Kickoff.

Together, participants explored the purpose and impact of Georgia’s Early Literacy Act, deepened their understanding of the Georgia Literacy Coach Competency Framework, and strengthened connections through collaborative learning and reflection.

Coaches examined practices that foster strong partnerships with principals and teachers, reflected on the qualities of impactful coaching, and developed goals and action steps to guide their work throughout the year.

Feedback from attendees highlighted the value of networking, meaningful discussions, role clarity, and the opportunity to learn alongside fellow coaches, reinforcing our collective commitment to improving literacy outcomes for every student.
