This is a slideshow video of our mural makeover of the steam room over at John Pittard elementary school. It was such an amazing opportunity for us to get together as a class and do community work to make the room a much better place for the students.. I enjoyed it so much so this is the video of the process and what we got up to for the past two weeks. Enjoy and thanks for watching..

Had an amazing time at the FRIST art museum in downtown Nashville . We also went walking on Broadway today and ate amazing food . We got to see different exhibitions from the Renaissance era, as well as from French and African cultures . A lot of the artworks are based on impressionism, and most of them were made from oil paint . We also got to learn about wealth and poverty, as well as politics . Later, we went to visit the old arcade that is now turned into art Studios so I will post pictures of those later on . This is just the first half of pictures and videos from today so stay tuned .

Today, I visited my community in Smyrna, Tennessee, to explore artwork and discovered five outdoor murals. As a visually impaired individual, most of the murals were painted or graffiti, making it difficult for me to understand them without a description. However, I observed that the murals were vibrant and colorful, conveying positivity. They contribute to making Smyrna a more inviting and welcoming city. I believe spreading advocacy in our community is crucial, and this is an initiative I would love to undertake with my students. It would not only raise awareness about our cause but also promote cultural diversity, inclusivity, and disability awareness. I would also like to create an outdoor tactile mural with my students to raise awareness about visual impairments, allowing individuals like myself to engage with the artwork through touch. Anyone can participate in creating an outdoor mural, making it a highly inclusive and engaging activity.

Today was our last day working with the Tennessee School for the Blind on our stop-motion project. Today was just doing last-minute touches shots recordings, and so on just to make sure we have everything ready as we edit the whole Stopmotion picture together. The students did such a great job and I think we did a great job teaching them. My peers also got to experience what it’s like to learn braille, as well as teaching a few lessons here and there. A great day of productivity and I can’t wait to see the full film once it’s finished.

This week, the Tennessee school for the blind is working on a stop-motion project that incorporates space and video games. The project's premise involves astronauts traveling from Earth to Mars. We've worked with middle schoolers on stop-motion shots, sound effects, close-ups, prop-making, and game piece creation. Additionally, we've explored robotics, artwork, and coding. Next week, we'll work with high schoolers and begin editing the project. The deadline is February 14, and I'm excited to see the finished product. Here are some pictures of the artwork created by the kids this week. They've done a great job, and I'm looking forward to next week.
