JBM Joy of the Week 🎉❤️🦅

It’s been a busy and exciting time at JBM, and we have so much to celebrate!

From recognizing Hispanic Heritage Month through our morning announcements to engaging in hands-on science experiments, enjoying extra club activities, cool technology opportunities, the introduction our HOUSE system (more to come), spreading kindness, and bringing the thrills with our annual Night of Screams 👻, our students have been learning, growing, and making memories!

These experiences are what make our school community so special. We love seeing our students explore new interests, celebrate different cultures, show kindness to others, and get involved in all the wonderful opportunities JBM has to offer.

A huge thank-you to our amazing staff, students, families, and volunteers who help make these moments possible. There is always something special happening at JBM, and we are so proud of our school community!

‼️UPDATE‼️

WE ARE STILL ON FOR TONIGHT!!!

Please see the following changes.

NEW TIME - 6:00pm-8:00pm

Families will enter the building using the doors on South St. We will have staff outside and inside to help guide. This will help to ensure families are waiting inside of JBM instead of outside!

Hope to see you at our annual Hall of Screams on Friday, October 16th anytime between 6:30-8:30! Not to mention, the Smyrna Police National Fright Out will be on Market Plaza (across the street from JBM) and will have free candy, live music, and even free zombie tag by JBM’s horseshoe!

A huge thank you to our some of amazing students who represented John Bassett Moore Intermediate School at last night’s October Board of Education meeting! We are so proud of them for confidently sharing some of the many things that make JBM such a special place to learn, grow, and belong.

A special thank you to our Student Advisor, Mr. Christman and Technology teacher, Mrs. Ridenour for joining us, supporting our students, and helping showcase the incredible things happening at JBM. We appreciate your dedication to our students and your commitment to making this opportunity a success! ❤️🦅
