I just HAD to share this with you guys….

As a vocal coach and an empath, I am naturally a giver, and I LOVE to do it!! Rarely though am I a receiver..

Moving to Vietnam did not come with guarantees of community and friendship but yet, by Gods grace, I find myself surrounded by love.

What MELTS me is NEVER the gift…

It’s the thoughts and intentions behind it. Thoughtfulness touches alllllllllll my gooey parts and I will never not melt at a thoughtful gift given without prompt!

I came to Vietnam mostly for my son, I had NO idea God would provide humans who are so happy to just love on me🥰🥰

So I’m just here… melting… and not because of the Vietnam heat!!

FINALLY!! A good VIP Movie theater in Vietnam…

This will be my new movie spot!

As a Vocal Coach, I don’t spend all my time in the studio or on stage, one of my favorite places to be is in a movie theaters with a huge tub of popcorn!

Unfortunately Vietnam had a problem with just butter salt popcorn because we can’t find it at any theater!! But the cozy vibes were everything I was missing!!

This was at the on the 3rd floor.

This was the BEST place to watch the new Spider-Man movie!! And we REALLY enjoyed it!!

I haven’t lost my voice in over 10 years because of ginger and garlic…

Ginger and garlic are known for helping your throat ails…and a little goes a LONG way. As a Vocal Coach, anytime I feel a throat pain or scratch, this is what I am drinking, a cup every few hours. Knocks out pain in 24-48 hours. EVERYTIME!

But if you want to sauce it up like the Asian baddies, you want to add in the following:

✨ginger
✨garlic
✨Lemon
✨Goji berries
✨Red dates
✨Green tea leaves (optional)

Bring it to a boil and let it simmer for a while - I like mine concentrated

Strain it into a jar and enjoy!

I like to make enough to fill a big jar and I store in the fridge. Each batch usually lasts me about a week and this is my DRINK!!

Where should I go next?! Living life as a homebody impersonating a tourist in Vietnam! 😜

I absolutely love being at home! But sometimes I get out of my bubble and explore this amazing space I’m in and I’m trying to be better with taking you all along for the ride with me!

In our little community, everything is like 2 feet away, mall, coffee shop, restaurants, and 1/2 my friends login in my same building! Like I really don’t need to venture out! But I’m glad when I do!!

Vietnam has a pulse, a heartbeat that is unmatched and even small errands feel like a next level adventure!!

Im low key embarrassed to admit that once upon a time, this would have made me feel so guilty.

Sometimes I sparkle center stage, mic in my hand, bright lights on my face… and I LOVE it. But I am learning, this is sparkling too✨✨✨

It’s crazy how we live in a reality where soft nights and quiet moments are a negative and reflect a low work ethic.

I have no idea how long I will be in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam but what I do know, is that this slower pace of life is healing something in me and allowing me to show up more authentically than I think I ever have.

You never know til you show up… cheers to you, on this journey to becoming the most authentic you💕✨✨✨

I had no idea what to expect from a studio in Vietnam… I mean I’ve seen some things here! But I am SO happy we went on this adventure and found this GEM of a studio! I am literally itching to get into this studio and record!! Vietnam keeps surprising me like… it’s the land of the hidden gems!!
