Jonquil Preparatory Academy

It has been a great first week here at JPA! Students have been engaged in learning and having an amazing time getting to know their peers and teachers. Check out what's happening:
1. Ms. Balza's 1st graders of Kennesaw State having "show and tell" in Spanish class.
2. Ms. Mullin's 4th graders of Bethune-Cookman navigating new terms in Social Studies class.
3. Dr. Hunter's 5th graders of Alabama State exploring the Five Themes of Geography in Social Studies class.
4. Ms. Kirby's 5th graders of Jackson State using "Order of Operations" to solve a problem guessing her age.

At Jonquil Prep, college readiness starts day 1. Our mathematics motto is, "Everyone is a math person!" Check out our 2nd grader mathematicians of Prairie View A&M University, Ms. Lampkin's class.

What a wonderful start to the school year! We loved welcoming our newest kindergarten scholars and their families during Kindergarten Orientation. We can't wait to see all they'll accomplish this year!

We are having great times at JPA! We are building relationships, meeting new friends, and creating social contracts for student learning!!! Dr. Brown is enjoying meeting all of the new scholars.

Tomorrow is our first day of school! We are so excited to see our families.
