Nickajack Foundation welcomed back our staff today (and stocked them up with some fuel) and the excitement for the 2026-2027 school year is amazing! Next thing up is welcoming our students! We can’t wait to meet all of you!

It’s official! We have broken ground to start building outdoor classrooms for our scholars! One of the many projects your Back the Jack donations fund! 🎉

We LOVE ! On Friday, NESF received $1,500 from the trial class fundraiser Yongsa ran for NES students this winter. We are so grateful for Yongsa’s continuing support of our mission of investing in our children’s education and character! Be sure to check out their incredible programs, including upcoming summer camps and their after-school enrichment! Thank you Yongsa.

STEAM night THIS THURSDAY! Come join us for a fun night of learning and exploration!

Love 💕 was in the air 💕 at last week’s STEAM day with ! Each student got to hold a snake, while also learning about how snakes survive in the wild, including camouflage, climbing trees and shedding their skin - even getting to watch one Scaly friend shed live! They learned about how various animals see color differently and how that impacts camouflage. Most importantly, they learned Scaly’s current character word: Courage. Courage is not being fearless, but controlling your fears by trusting in your skills and your purpose! These amazing experiences are made possible by the incredible support for Back the Jack!
