Happy Diwali 🪔 to all of our families and students celebrating!
Diwali is the “Festival of Lights,” celebrated by over 800 million people of different faiths, including Hindus, Sikhs, and Jains, over five days. The festival marks the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness, with traditions like lighting oil lamps (diyas), creating colorful rangoli floor art, exchanging gifts, and setting off fireworks. Each day of the five-day festival has its own unique significance and celebrations.

Preschool 1 worked on building houses! Learning to manipulate different shaped objects to create structures helps develop problem solving skills, fine motor and critical thinking skills!

Busy Hands = Happy Hearts! In our Preschool 1 classroom our students practiced their fine motor skills by using scissors. Not only is cutting fun but it gives children independent movements of each finger. Cutting with scissors works on the separation of two sides of the hand and strengthens hand muscles.

Our summer camp kiddos enjoyed splashing around after returning from our morning field trip! We explored gravity and pressure differences and how we can use both to move water through tubes!
