Today is American Recycles Day! Here are some things you can do today and every day to help the planet:

1. Find out if carton recycling is available in your area.
2. Stop throwing away clothing and household textiles.
3. Encourage your kids to recycle at school.
4. Avoid plastic bags by bringing your own bag, or simply declining the bag when you can.
5. Donate new or used sneakers to Eco Sneakers(.ORG) for repurposing. We're at a drop box location near you!

Ode to our Amazing Teachers:
Your sacrifices don’t go unnoticed. We understand that you give up your lives, your personal and family time to grade papers, prepare lessons, and attend conferences. And many people don’t realize teachers have to buy most of their classroom supplies out of pocket. Tell your teachers that their extra work means a lot to you. The compliment will certainly mean a lot to them.

The Professional Football Players Mothers Association, Southern Region, will join former NFL Players and the NFL Players Association in making an impact in the lives of others with a massive sneaker drive on May 15, 2021, in Atlanta, GA at the Atlantic Station Green.
