What an experience!
This was not the outcome I was hoping for, but at this stage in my life, I have learned to totally trust the Father and His plan for me.
Throughout this journey, I met so many wonderful people who encouraged me, supported me, prayed for me, and reminded me why I stepped outside of my comfort zone in the first place. And as a lifelong learner, I have learned to welcome the challenges, the lessons, and even the unexpected turns along the way.
One of our family goals has always been to “leave memories, not money.” This campaign has certainly given us memories that I hope will stay with our family for generations to come.
To my church family, my school family, my chosen family, my former students, and the countless friends and supporters who walked alongside me—thank you. Thank you for believing in me, encouraging me, and always reminding me of my WHY.
I may not have won the election, but I gained experiences, friendships, memories, and lessons that I will carry with me forever.
And for that, I am truly grateful. ❤️
