The Cerda -Smith family shared that just four months after their au pair Naiara arrived, they can’t imagine life without her. As they settled into Chicago after relocating from the South, Naiara helped make the
transition feel like home.
The moments that have meant the most have happened around thetable.
Naiara and her family in Spain have shared special meats,
cheeses, and sweets, and Naiara has cooked favorites like paella and torrijas. In return, the family has loved sharing pumpkin pie, Christmas cookies, and Chicago -style pizza. For them, it’s been about more than food. It’s been about culture, connection, and making memories together.
