With the temperature heating up, try these tips to survive and thrive during summer training!

Have any tips? Share them in the comments!
- Run early or late
- Run indoors or cross train
- Freeze 1/2 a water bottle, fill the rest with water. Run with it.
- Have someone bike with you for additional support
- Use smaller loops from home, stash a cooler outside, and stop for hydration every time you pass
- DON'T WORRY ABOUT PACE! (Yes, we are yelling)

Didn't get to register for the Cpl Christopher G Scherer I DID THE GRID Run/walk??You can still register tonight at packet pickup. Packet pickup will be held in the Pulaski Road School “All Purpose Room” (623 Ninth Avenue East Northport, NY 11731)

You can also register on race day in the Pulaski Road School “All Purpose Room.” Registration will begin at 7am and remain open until the start of the 5k Recreational Walk/Run at 9:30am.
