The Jewish Cultural School celebrated Purim today! The festivities included A Purim shpiel (a fun play telling the story of the Megillah), hamentashen (triangle shaped cookies ), mishloach manot (bags of treats), and tzedakah (donations for a local food pantry). The day was filled with smiles and laughter and of course, lots of noshing!

Important announcement: we need to postpone the first day of Hebrew School; the building we use is not quite ready to be open yet, so we will let all of our families know when our first day will be. We are so sorry for this last minute change, and please know that the teachers and the JCS community is very much looking forward to seeing both new and old friends soon!

The Jewish Cultural School is hosting Rosh Hashana services on Monday September 30th and Yom Kippur services on Wednesday October 9th. Both services will start at 10am and take place at the Setauket Neighborhood House. The services are free and all are welcome. Please email [email protected] for more information.
