Dear Smithtown High School West Community,

I am writing to share that later this summer I will be leaving my position as Principal of Smithtown High School West after accepting the position of School Business Official/Treasurer for the East Quogue Union Free School District.

Serving as the principal of Smithtown High School West has been one of the greatest privileges of my professional career. While I am excited for the opportunity to pursue a long-term career goal in school district leadership, leaving this incredible community is not an easy decision. The relationships I have built with our students, families, faculty, staff, and community members have made my time at High School West both meaningful and rewarding.

I want to sincerely thank our families for the trust and support you have shown me throughout my time as principal. A strong school is built on a true partnership between home and school, and I have always appreciated your commitment to working together in support of our students. To our students, thank you for making every day meaningful. Watching you learn, grow, compete, perform, lead, and achieve has been both inspiring and rewarding. Your accomplishments, resilience, and character are what make High School West such a special place, and I have been honored to be part of your journey. I also want to recognize the outstanding faculty and staff who work tirelessly each day on behalf of our students. Their professionalism, compassion, and commitment to excellence are the foundation of everything that makes High School West successful.

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to serve this community. It has truly been an honor and a privilege.
