The Lord has truly blessed us in our Little Paws Ministry over the years. Each day our staff gets to teach the students academics; which includes coloring, tracing, writing, learning names and sounds of letters, blending letters, making words and sentences, counting, adding, subtracting, grouping objects, etc. We also help them learn to share, take turns, be polite, be apologetic, to have self-control, to be independent and to have confidence. The most important thing we do is teach them about God and about Jesus; who Jesus is and what he has done for us. We strive to help our students learn the characteristics of Christ. Even though they are so very young, kids absorb everything that they see and hear!! Our staff is so very thankful for the love and support that we receive from our Little Paws families, our Community and our Smiths Station Baptist Church family.
We are full in all of our classes for the upcoming school year except for Pre-K4. We have a few spots left in our K4 classes. If you are looking for a loving, caring classroom environment for your child to attend - check us out. We offer Pre-K3, K4, Kindergarten and 1st grade. We are having an “Open House” on February 21st (10:30 to 12:00) for prospective parents looking to enroll their child in our program. We are getting ready to start enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year. If you are looking for a school with a smaller setting for you kids to learn biblical truths, along with academics check us out. Little Paws (Preschool) Christian Academy offers Pre-K3, K4, Kindergarten and 1st grade. We are an extended ministry of Smiths Station Baptist Church and located in the heart of Smiths Station. Our staff works hard together to ensure that our students have a solid foundation of biblical knowledge while they learn to color, read, and write. They learn many important lessons about how to follow instructions, be compassionate, caring, respectful, truthful and independent. Why do we do what we do? We love watching the students grow and learn together. We love teaching them phonics and numbers but the best part is getting to worship with them. What a great time we had singing and worshiping with our Youth Pastor Matt Burkhart. Thankful for all of our church staff supporting us and helping with whatever we need. 💕
