Livestock Health Requirements
All livestock/animals offered for sale or exhibition at Kentucky County Fairs shall meet the following regulations according to KRS Chapter 257:
a. 302 KAR 20:040 (Entry into Kentucky)
b. 302 KAR 20:065 (Sale and Exhibition of Kentucky Origin
Animals in Kentucky)
Any questions concerning these health regulations should be directed to your local veterinarian or the Kentucky Department of Agriculture State Veterinarian’s office at 502-573-0282.

CORRECTION: Fair entries are TUESDAY from 8:30-6:00.

Attention all FFA members: the Livingston County Fair is next week. All members are eligible to provide entries for the fair. Entries are due to the extension office on TUESDAY. If you have grown anything in the garden, painted, taken photographs, built a project out of wood/metal, have sewn something, cooked something amazing, canned or preserved food, have some cool plants to show off or crops including corn, soybeans, or wheat, you can enter them in the fair. Please message or email Mrs. Lady or call the extension office for more details. You all have some amazing things you are doing at home so let’s show them off! You can win cash prizes for placing in each category.

Week 2 FFA Camp is in the books.

A bit late on posting, but our officer team had a great time at FFA Camp this year. A lot was accomplished and we are excited to kick off a new year!

2026 FFA State Convention

We had an amazing time at Convention this week. Laken Davis and Tristan Davidson competed in Ag Public Speaking, Brianna Fletcher, Madi Herrington, Brooklyn Waters and Rylee Hall completed in Farm Business Management, Sheena Cook and Madi Herrington served as delegates, Rylee Hall and Josie Taylor received their State Degrees, and our chapter received a Gold Chapter Rating! ⭐️

Also thank you to our Alumni won sponsored oyr chapter dinner.

Thursday is the last regular day of the season for the greenhouse. We will be set up at the Farmers Market on Friday for final sales. We have some great deals and discounts! Come out and see us. And a huge Thank You! To everyone who has purchased from us so far.
